Origin Story
Fazenda Recreio, located in São Sebastião da Grama, São Paulo state, is renowned for producing high-quality coffee. The fertile soil, mild climate, altitude of 1100-1250m, and excellent sunlight create the perfect environment for growing highly mature coffee cherries. The farm, established in 1890, has been passed down through five generations, and is currently managed by Diogo Dias. There are 68 housing units for workers, and a soccer field, church, hospital, and computer room are provided for workers' children, with sports and cultural activities thriving. Currently, the farm employs 45 full-time workers and 100 temporary workers during harvest season. The owner has a strong interest in the environment and is knowledgeable about the condition of the natural forests within the vast farm and the ecosystems of its flora and fauna. Employees and their families receive education on environmental protection and sustainability concepts.
