Origin Story

Finca El Morito is located in the deep forests of San José de Lourdes, in the mountainous region of Cajamarca in northern Peru. Spanning 150 hectares,
this farm is more than just a coffee plantation; it's a community where over 50 local producers gather.
The farm is led by David Flores, the third generation. He has elevated the land and techniques inherited from his grandfather's generation into the world of modern specialty coffee. He is committed to building soil through composting, without relying on chemical fertilizers. This is the very philosophy of this farm, which has coexisted with the forest.

David's choice to export directly, without intermediaries, is to protect the livelihoods of the producers and maintain a commitment to quality. Beyond the cup,
there is the pride of three generations and the lives of the people who live in the forest.
