A floral aroma like jasmine spreads, with stone fruit flavors reminiscent of white peach and apricot. On the palate, a bright, transparent acidity and honey-like sweetness combine, and as the temperature settles, a delicate and clean aftertaste like white tea lingers.

Origin story

Shantawane, located in the Bensa district of Sidama Province in southern Ethiopia, is one of the villages gaining attention as a producer of summer specialty coffee. This area is highly regarded by buyers and roasters worldwide as "Bensa Coffee." Situated at an altitude of approximately 1900 to 2300m, the cool climate, significant day-night temperature differences, and volcanic soil slowly mature the coffee cherries, resulting in a floral and transparent flavor. The coffee in this region is not produced by a single farm, but by surrounding small-scale farmers, and the harvested ripe cherries are taken to the village's washing station for processing.
