Tasting Notes;
This coffee offers juicy acidity and fruitiness reminiscent of strawberries and peaches. A subtle hint of spiciness adds complexity and depth, while a floral note, like rose tea, elegantly ties the cup together.
Process;
“Slow-Dry Natural” is a coffee processing method that falls under the natural (dry) process category. Like other natural processes, the coffee cherries are dried with the fruit still intact. However, as the name “slow” suggests, this method involves a much slower drying process than usual.
While traditional natural processing involves spreading the cherries under the sun to dry over a few days or weeks, the slow-dry natural method uses shaded, well-ventilated environments to dry the cherries gradually. This slow pace allows the fruit's sugars to slowly seep into the beans, resulting in increased sweetness and a richer body.
Varieties;
Gori Gesha is a variety that reproduces the genetic diversity of the Gori Gesha coffee trees originally planted in the Gori Gesha forest.
